Was Yah'shua Fully Yahweh On Earth?

Was Yah'shua Fully Yahweh On This Earth?

Charles Brooks [email protected]

This is a striaght forward meat and potatoes Shabbat article written by brother Charles Brooks,  I agree as brother Chuck said: " we search or look for the truth, not men's traditions ". Brother Charles and Sister Laurie are living proof that YAHWEH calls whom He wills out from modern religions to form within them Messiah and His spirit to inherit eternal life. What is so amazing to me, is that they are in the same position that I was about 30 years ago, proving what is truth in scriptures, from what is false in traditional religious organizations to themselves and others.

This article proves two things, as YAHWEH usually works by duality, is that Messiah came to earth as a human man -in human flesh, He had a human name- Yah'shua, He died for our sins, and at His resurrection from the dead, Messiah inherited the more excellent name of faith and inheritance which is Yahweh(Shua). I love this article, and I would hope that the reader would examine the scriptures he gives, because we are told to prove all things Thess. 5:21 hold fast that which is true or good.

So I humbly present this great article to you.

Was Yah'shua Fully Yahweh On This Earth?

By Brother Charles Brooks.

This is a great question that has confused people through the ages. We will look at Scriptures that clearly show that Yah'shua was not fully Yahweh while on this earth.

1. Messiah emptied himself of His glory to come down to earth as a man and was made a little lower than the angels.

Hebrews 2:6 But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him? 7 Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands: 8 Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him. 9 But we see Yah'shua, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of Yahweh should taste death for every man.

Psalm 8:3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; 4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? 5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Messiah YahwehShua: 6 Who, being in the form of Elohim, thought it not robbery to be equal with Yahweh: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

John 17:4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. 5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

2. Since Yah'shua was flesh and blood, we know that flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of Yahweh.

John 19:33 But when they came to Yah'shua, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs: 34 But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.

1 Corinthians 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of Yahweh; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

3. As we clearly illustrated, Yah'shua was flesh and blood. Yahweh is Spirit.

John 4:24 Yahweh is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

John 3:5 Yah'shua answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of Yahweh. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

4.Yah'shua was tempted in all ways, yet Yahweh cannot be tempted.

James 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of Yahweh: for Yahweh cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempted He any man

Matthew 4:1 Then was Yah'shua led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

Hebrew 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

5. Messiah made Himself of no reputation on this earth to suffer, while Yahweh is King of Kings and Sovereign of Sovereigns.

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Messiah YahwehShua: 6 Who, being in the form of Elohim, thought it not robbery to be equal with Yahweh: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the beam.

Revelations 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called Dabar( Word) Yahweh. 14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty Yahweh. 16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND SOVEREIGN OF SOVEREIGNS.

Deuteronomy 10:17 For Yahweh your Elohim is Elohim of elohim, and Sovereign of sovereigns, a great Elohim, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:

6. Yah'shua humbled Himself and became obedient unto death. Yahweh is immortal.

Romans 14:9 For to this end Messiah both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Sovereign both of the dead and living.

Philippians 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the beam.

1 Timothy 6:15 Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Sovereign of sovereigns; 16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Ahmen.

7. Messiah did not have the great name of Yahweh while on this earth, but was given the name of Yah'shua, a common man's name. Although it is a common mans name, it is connected to the Father because Yah'shua means Yah saves. At His resurrection He was again given the glory he once had with the Father and the name above all names, the great name of Yahweh(shua).

John 12:28 Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.

Philippians 2:9 Wherefore Yahweh also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of YahwehShua every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that YahwehShua Messiah is Sovereign, to the glory of Yahweh the Father.

Hebrew 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; 4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

Psalm 8:1 {To the chief Musician upon Gittith, A Psalm of David.} O YAHWEH our Sovereign, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.

Psalm 148:13 Let them praise the name of Yahweh: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

Eph 1:20 Which he wrought in Messiah, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that( world) which is to come:

Psalm 89:24 But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn (power) be exalted (raised).

There are no Scriptures in the Bible that says Yah'shua was fully Yahweh. Yah'shua became sin for us(2 Corinthians 5:21) and a curse (Galatians 3:13), according to the law (Deuteronomy 21:22-23) and his prophetic human name was blotted out of the book of life (Deuteronomy 29:20).

We conclude that although not fully Yahweh when Messiah was a man on this earth, he was equal in terms of nature, character and purpose. He was given Yahweh's spirit with power (Romans 1:4) to enable Yah'shua to perform miracles, yet he was still a man.

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Messiah YahwehShua: 6 Who, being in the form (1) of Elohim, thought it not robbery to be equal with Yahweh:

(1) form (Greek morphe ¨C Strong¡¯s #3444) of Elohim: the Greek word for " form" was generally used to express the way in which a thing appears. Thus the expression form of Elohim may be correctly understood as the essential nature and character of Yahweh. To say, therefore that Messiah existed in the form of Yahweh is to say that apart from his human nature Messiah possess all the characteristics and qualities belonging to Yahweh.

HalleluYah
